Ms. Militello has been an advisor to Kaiser Permanente and Technology Ventures Corporation and is a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship at the University of California at Santa Cruz Extension as well as St. Mary’s College of California.

She was featured on the PricewaterhouseCoopers Start up Show as well as the Comcast television program Technogenesis on the topic of venture investment and has served on panels for the East Bay Innovation Group’s Startups/VCs SIG, Bay Area Capital Connections II and The Girls’ Middle School Entrepreneurial Night.  

Prior to founding Vernare, she was general manager of Agilent Technologies’ global services division of the Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Group and is a 15 year veteran of Hewlett-Packard Company where she rose to senior marketing and field positions in the computing and medical device and healthcare IT groups.  

Ms. Militello was Chief Operating Officer of Stevens Institute of Technology’s commercialization company where she selected technologies to patent, launched early stage companies and secured angel and venture funding for the portfolio companies.  She served as an Advisory Board Member of the Technology Ventures Incubator in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Ms. Militello is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a BA in Mathematics and Spanish and earned her MBA at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
